Clearing Cache

    I have a website that is just for archived posts. There are over 15,000 posts and no new content will be added. All I do is keep core, theme and plugins updated. I do not have it set to recreate the cache after completion. I do have the cache timeout set to once a year.
    I recently read on another forum that you should clear the cache after updates. Is that something I should do?
    Is there a hit on server resources to delete the cache on a site that large?

    no, you should not.

    yes so you should not clear cache often.
