Clearing cache with cronjob

This question has been asked before and I even found a tutorial. However, I still don’t fully understand how to set up a cronjob.

Enabling the preload features provides further options that I don’t really need. I just need the URL for completely deleting the cache. I want to use an external cron instead of the the built-in WP cron.
