Clearing logs?

Is there a way to set up automatically clearing the logs after a predetermined amount of time? I noticed that the log gets huge very quickly, which becomes unwieldy. I don’t see any settings for purging log files other than to do it manually.

If there isn’t such a feature, I’d love to see it added in future releases. It would be useful to be able to set the log to automatically purge entries older than X number of days or something like that.
