Clearing the search bar field

  • Hello! I am running into a wall trying to customize the search bar so it clears out the search field after you do a search. When you search right now, the words you use are saved, so trying to removing them and then using the filter button, returns a search with the original search words. I have limited knowledge of CSS but trying to learn, thanks!

    Thanks for reaching us,

    The option for removing the search history is unavailable with the current version of the Zakra. After having a discussion with the developer, they are planning to add the feature with the future release of the Zakra theme.

    Do you have any idea of when this change will be implemented, more or less? It’s a big problem from a usability standpoint.

    Currently team is working on the Major release of the Zakra theme. Once the released is update, I will request the team to work on your request with priority and release an update soon.
