• How can I clear out my logs as they are taking up way to much space? The button is gone and still not back. Come one!

  • Add the line below to the wp-config.php file:

    define(‘ITSEC_DEBUG’, true);

    This will add an extra menu option to the Security menu named Debug.
    Navigate to the Security->Debug menu option.

    Copy/paste the info displayed under the Scheduler section into this topic.

    @nlpro, I tried yr code, does not make a menu item anywhere. If it did for hows about a screen snap of its location

    Nothing extra here: https://prntscr.com/kchxyi

    So many people have asked this question yet iThemes keeps ignoring the fact we need a CLEAR LOGS button

    Judging from the screenshot it looks like you are running the premium (Pro) plugin.

    Make sure to be running the 5.3.0 or newer release of the Pro plugin.
    Preferably the latest release (5.4.1 at the time of writing this post).

    Anything older than the 5.3.0 Pro (or 7.0.2 free) release does not include the Debug menu, no matter what you do.

    Hmm, there seems to be incorrect quotes in my first post of this topic. Copy/paste from that post to your wp-config.php file will probably not work. So here is a new attempt to get it right:

    define('ITSEC_DEBUG', true);

    Completely agree that the clear log button should be there by default. I checked my database and the log table was taking 1 GB!!! This is insane.

    If there are older entries in the Logs page than expected based upon the “Days to Keep Database Logs” setting value in the General Settings module, follow the procedure below.

    Add the line below to the wp-config.php file:

    define('ITSEC_DEBUG', true);

    This will add an extra menu option to the Security menu named Debug.
    Navigate to the Security->Debug menu option.

    1. Copy/paste the ### iThemes Security ### section from the System Info window into this topic.

    2. What’s displayed under Scheduler ?

    @jdembowski The solution does work. I added to wp-config and I still have NO WAY to delete the logs. I did read the post, and I did follow it and it does not work. My logs just keep appending and I need to delete them.

    I clicked RUN and the logs are still not purged. it is not working.

    @nlpro I did follow your instructions and it still does not allow me to delete the logs even if I click RUN on all three which I have several times.
