Clever people give me an answer
-
Hi, a client has given me a design for a website/blog, they require the posts pages to look something like this:
https://www.niftythrifters.co.uk/category/your-cash/
on that page the images on the left and right are in the template so its effectively static. However they require the entire page to be editable via wordpress admin, therefore I need some way of them inserting an image and choosing align left or align right and the images positioning themselves in either the left or right column.
Is there a clever css solution? ive tried relative positioning but that doesnt work as you see the gap where they would have been in the text.
Or is the solution to have columns set out in the template file? if so how would i get the images in the columns?
I wondered if there is a way to have one post say contain 3 posts? i.e. i could have ‘new post > left column > mid column > right column’ ??
or is there a decent template plug in that would do the job?
its really puzzling me im sure there is a way….
any ideas?
