click 404 error

The table of contents on the webpage is normal, but when I scroll down, the next article automatically loads. The table of contents for this next article appears to have correct links, but clicking on them results in a 404 error.
However, if I open that “next article” directly, its table of contents works normally, and clicking on the links doesn’t produce a 404 error.
The table of contents only malfunctions when the next page is automatically loaded.
What should I do about this?
