Click Events on menu get edit.php download

When I am in my backend on WordPress and click Events to look at my events list I get a download file called edit.php and it will not direct me to my events list. The page for the user is working fine except I am getting 404 redirects for multiple recurring events even though they show in the recurring events. All other Events Manager menu options are working (add event, recurring events, settings, etc.)
