    Not sure how to describe this, but I’ll do my best.

    I’m a volunteer, and the chap who was doing this before me had something working really well, but I don’t know how to set it up! We have a series of jpg files showing on a page, and when someone clicks on one of the jpg files, a new email gets opened with the email address “[email protected]” and the subject “Colouring In Contest – vote for ##” already in the email.

    I don’t know how to set this up – can anyone help please? It’s for a children’s colouring in contest.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    If you set up the pictures with <a> tag and have it direct to emailto with subject VOTE FOR.. this will answer your question

    A HREF=”mailto:[email protected]?subject=VOTE FOR ME!

    Thanks – all working now – esmi, it wasn’t a problem with WordPress, just I wasn’t technical enough how to make it work. A very clever person set up WordPress for us, and I just “use” it but don’t know anything about code etc.

    DJ Glasgow: thanks, I got a more technical person than me to help me through things and it works, so thanks for that.
