Click on Thumbnail shows slideshow

Hi,

I am not quite sure to understand what you need.

I’ve inserted a gallery with different species of moths. Of every species there is one image.

So there is one image of each A species, B species, C species, so on

What I want is when you click on a thumbnail you get a slideshow of all the images of this particular species in my gallery.

The slideshow will have only one image since there is only one of each species.

If you need to have one image of each species as a “preview” or “sample” image and your users click to see all images under that species, you can use albums, just create a gallery for each species and put them into an album, please do note when clicking on an image, you will see a gallery of those images inside the species, not a slideshow. Our free version does not allow opening galleries in images directly into a lightbox.

That’s exactly what I meant! Thank you!

So I have to make for my images of the moths over 400 galleries. That’s a lot and maybe a bit cluttered. And no slideshow or lightbox option.

I’m not sure if I want to do this, but it’s an option.

And thanks to your answer I now know how to make albums and what the difference is with a gallery.
