Click stats not working

    Hi. Just testing out your plugin for a client but I can’t get the click tracking to work. In a previous thread you said it won’t work on localhost “and some other scenarios”. What are these other scenarios? I’m testing the plugin on a site that has password protection on it to hide it – just wondering if this could be the cause? If not, what can I do to debug? I see you have some debugging tools but not sure what I’m looking for

    What kind of advert are you trying to track?

    Apologies for the delay in replying. not sure I understand the question: it’s an image that is an ad banner, size is 300 x 250.
    Not sure this is the question you were asking though?!

    That should work… Javascript adverts such as those from Adsense can not be tracker properly by AdRotate – But they have their own tracking usually.

    The other scenarios involve bots, admin users and untraceable useragents.

    I have the same problem. Also using an ad banner. The photo links to a website.

    HI I keep coming back to my staging site to see if your plugin stats are now working and they are still not. I am now on plugin version 4.6.3. it’s a bit maddening as your plugin would be perfect if only the stats worked! I’m also scared to pay for the pro version in case that also does not work.

    How can I find out where the problem lies? Can you tell me some steps to try to work out where it is going wrong?

    I just deactivated all plugins except AdRotate and it still didn’t record clicks. I also logged out of admin to see if clicking around without being logged in had any effect – it didn’t, still no clicks tracked.
