Awesome plugin. Works as it should. Just wondering:

    – I would like to add e.g. “click here to download this file” in image description once in full screen view / lightbox popup.

    How to do it? Flow:

    1. user on post page
    2. user clicks on the image and lightbox opens
    3. user clicks on “Download” text and it will download the file (any extension so jpg or doc etc)

    Thanks!

Just right click on the image and use “Save image as…”. Even my mom knows how to do that. ??

although @epsitates is correct in that most people already know how to save pictures with a right-click. I figure you are asking because the lightbox script you chose is displaying the image as a background image making it impossible to right-click? It depends on the lightbox script you selected. I couldnt tell you how to do it without the script name.

You could also always use jquery (or plain javascript) to add a download link pretty easily.

I would also like to know if there is a download link available. Photo Gallery plugin has this function.

@epistates – I am also requesting this because the lightbox option does not allow me to right click and download, half the image goes missing and a user can only save the page, not an image. When we want them to download multiple images, a one-click button would be easier for them instead of ‘right click, save as, select folder, save’.
