Click to Open Larger Map Error

Hi,

I upgraded the google maps plugin on my website yesterday and at first I was getting some type of g.co billing error in place of the embedded map and so I came to the support forum for answers and found that I need to generate an API key which I have done (with ‘none’ restrictions) and now I get the click to open larger map error. I have read all the support threads on this and quite frankly tried various tricks suggested but still in the same position.

Can someone explain how I resolve this in lay person’s terms, step by step?
