• Hi Weblizar,

    Using Enigma Free 1.9.7 en using Enigma for more then half a year now. Thanks for your nice theme. I have a questions/remark though.

    I notice that most icons, pictures, photos etc are not clickable or if so are limited to having only part of them clickable which is confusion for website visitors. Most certainly as the “hand symbol” is shown for complete icons, where is not a conplete icon is clickable.

    Example;
    – Social Media icons in header and footer: Complete square icons show hand when hovered with mouse but only center symbol in square icon is clickable.
    – Sliders in slideshow itself are not clickable. Hence on mobile/tablet (when Read More button is not shown) the slides are not clickable.
    – Text under portfolio photos in square: Square is not clickable while still showing hand symbol on entire square. Only text itself is clickable.
    – Fav-icons next to Services description are not clickable. That would be nice.

    Hope you can agree with me, that these could be nice improvements.

    Kind regards,
    Gijsbert Dekker

  • Yes, PLEASE make things clickable—including contact info—or at least give us the option to do so!

    Hi..

    Please make child theme directory and create header.php, home-slideshow.php, home-portfolio.php and home-services.phfile.

    Now copy code from LINK and paste into child theme’s header.php file.

    Now copy code from LINK and paste into child theme’s home-slideshow.php file.

    Now copy code from LINK and paste into child theme’s home-portfolio.php file.

    Now copy code from LINK and paste into child theme’s home-services.php file.

    Weblizar, unfortunately your modifications have NOT solved these issues or have not a positive result. I tested your new files with 1.9.7 theme.

    – The Social Icon boxes in Header are still not clickable only the item in the social media bx itself.
    – The FAV icon next to services is still not clickable.
    – STill only the text under Portfolio is clickable, not the entire text box below the photo of portfolio while the complete text box is showing the hand symbol when mouse over.
    – The Home slideshow I can not test on my local server on laptop if your improvement has changed anything on navigation on smartphone.

    I seriously question your ability to look at the details of your theme. It still contains multiple faults I have mentioned before. I hand over fine suggestions and improvements on a silver platter but you do not seem able to incorporate them in spite of any efforts. Pitty for your theme.

    I strongly suggest to hire someone for quality control of your code and improvements.

    Sorry to mention this but after testing latest suggestions;
    – Fav Icons still not clickable

    It appears the home-portfolio.php under your LINK has not changed any code. Still the same as my old 1.97 version

    These are my current files on my production website;

    Child theme: LINK
    Enigma 1.9.7: LINK

    Any customization or tips that would make my suggestions for clickability functional would be highly appreciated.

    So far I can only make the social media icons in the header.php clickable with your suggestions.

    Thanks for your efforts, but your efforts still have no succes in maing my suggestions work. I admire your response though. I have no iedea why your code does not what you think it should do.

    The fav icons of services still not clackable
    The box below picture of portfolio still not clickable but is showing hand (which hints it should ne clickable)
    I do no bother testing home-slideshow, (can only test on production) when rest not functioning.

    I am giving up for now in trying and will take the theme as it is.

    Last effort to explain my suggestions;
    LINK picture of home-services
    LINK picture of home-portfolio

    Hello,

    Can you please share your file “home-services” and file “home-services” code ?

    Thanks
