Clickable name to get details

    Hello.
    Thanks for this amazing plugin.
    I’d like to add some custom fields for dictionary entries but not to show them directly on listing.
    I’d like to have my names clickable so I can get full details of every entry on separate page (it could be something like ?details=name – passed by GET parameter or SEO-friendly style like dict/word) – it would be great to get some hints directly from author, where to dig at?
    Have you tried or do you know some plugin users who tried this? I think that custom fields are not so hard to do, displaying details would be harder.

    Hi 9dev,

    thank you for your kind words.

    If you want to modify plugin yourself that is fine offcourse. Please keep in mind that a next update will overwrite your changes.

    Having said that: shortcode.php provides all the external functions. Every entry will be edited with admin.php.
    If you want to modify the DB for the extra fields, you can edit it directly or do so in install.php

    I don’t know any users who have tried this. There were users asking around for hints, like you. Most of them don’t ever reply back to me, I think they moved on to other plugins or left it the way it was. Either is OK offcourse, everyone can decide for himself ??

    Hi, after considering all of pros and cons I’d rather build a new engine for dictionary.
    But I still find your work very interesting and well-done.
