    Wordpress 5.2.1
    Google Authenticator plugin 0.52
All plugins deactivated except this one

    Add New user account
    Edit user account
Clicking Active Does not cause Authenticator settings to showup – Nothing occurs

Note: I have used this plugin for a while and editing an existing account with Google Authenticator plugin installed does show the extra fields

  • Hi, try the following steps.

    1) Add New user account.
    2) Edit user account “But don’t activate Google Authenticator”.
    3) Log out as admin.
    4) Log in as the new user you just created and activate Google Authenticator. Set up the QR code and log out. Then log back in to test if it is working or not.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

    Yes that works okay.

If that is the flow, something should we displayed after a user clicks Activate on a new account. Tell the user they need to login to setup two factor authentication.

Hi, that is something for the developer to investigate further.
