• Blighty Version 2.0.2

    When I click a document link in the list displayed, the plugin now just refreshes the page I’m on, whether or not I have the plug-in configured to show in browser or to download the item.

    It was working on the old domain. I just migrated the site from one domain to the one it is on now, then – because it wasn’t working – I killed the credentials for Blighty Explorer at DropBox, disabled and uninstalled the plugin, then reinstalled and added the credentials. I have also tried the reset trick at the end of the URL.

    But, it keeps doing this refresh, without ever taking me to the file.

    The only new plug-ins on the new site are JetPack and Varnish HTTP purge (which I’m loathe to disable since we are now in production) – all the other plug-ins worked fine on the old site with Blighty. I did clear the Varnish cache for that page and no change. I also have a redirect plugin installed but no redirects are configured for the page in question.

    Right now I have it set to show in the browser (default) and force a new tab (but changing these settings does nothing).

    Can you take a look? I have the plugin running on a test page for now at

    When I click the link to a doc, it redirects to:
    https://www.coloradospringsaa.org/test/?pagename=test&file=%252Fpint_2017_05.pdf

    This only refreshes the page without loading the doc.

    I’m scratching my head on this one as I can’t recreate the problem. Are you using any shortcode attributes such as root or filepick?

    Thanks for checking. I’m not using any short code attributes at all, just the base shortcake. I will try playing around with disabling a few plugins when the site doesn’t get very much traffic and see what it affects here. I wont be able to do this until the weekend though.

    Thanks for the extra input. Two other thoughts come to mind: 1 – Are you using a Business Dropbox account? 2 – The file will be displayed by performing a page redirect. You mentioned a redirect plugin – which one?

    Was this ever resolved? I’m having the same symptoms.

    nevermind, for some reason, it’s now working. Just a fluke I guess. Thanks. =)
