    Hello

Thank yo for your wonderful plugin and hard work. I have added your plugin to a test site, but when users land on the site and click the banner to agree the page then loads to an error page /wp-admin/admin-post.php You need to at least consent to our Privacy Policy.

Cold you please advise as I am unable to see this in the documentation or other support threads.

    Kind regards Karl

    Hi @kbutleruk,

Your problem is strange. When you first activate the plugin, it creates a consent type for you called Privacy Policy ( id: privacy-policy ). The plugin looks for this consent.

For some reason, you don’t have that. Not sure if you deleted it from the database directly or some bug happened that prevented it from being created.

I’ll investigate this further, as this is the second time someone reported this.

For now, navigate to GDPR > SETTINGS > CONSENTS and register a new consent called Privacy Policy. Set it as always required, add text to it and save. This should fix your issue.

    Hi @fclaussen

Thats wonderful thank you, is there a shortcode to add GDPR::consent_checkboxes to the registration page?

    Kind regards Karl

There is no shortcode. Since this needs to go inside your registration HTML. I don’t see this ever being the case when you are editing a page. I might be wrong though.

Can you explain to me why you think a shortcode might be useful? I might end up adding one.

I am getting the same error “You need to at least consent to our Privacy Policy.” I created the “Privacy Policy” consent as mentioned above, and when saving it, received a 500 error several times after saving it. I found that if I do not flip the switch on the “Required” field, it does not give me the error. However, even after saving the new consent type, I still get the error after clicking the agree button. Any ideas that can fix this? Thanks, and keep up the good work!

    Hi @bmedwards,

Can you please open a new topic regarding this? That way I can help you determine why you are having this issue.
