Clicking on a product takes me to the wrong page but the url is correct – Help

    Hi everyone,

    I just noticed that when I click on a product on a shop page I created (this page lists all the products in gallery view) when I click on one of the products on this page it takes me to the wrong page and this is happening when I click on all the products. Each time I click on one of the products even though it takes me to the wrong page when I look at the url at the top of the page its correct but the page isnt.

    My initial shop page has a url like this: https://www.websitename.com/product-category/food-products the url it takes me to when i click on each product is something like this: https://www.websitename.com/product/bread but the page does not show the product despite the url being correct.

    I have got the Redirections plugin installed but even when this plugin was not activated I was still experiencing the same problem. The only other Redirection plugin I have is Redirection for Contact Form 7. But the problem was occurring even before I activated these two plugins.

    If anyone can help me with this and suggest how I can fix this that would be great.

    The problem is unlikely to be Redirection.

    I don’t know what Redirection for Contact Form 7 is, but it is not connected to Redirection and just appears to be taking advantage of the name.

    You may find out a bit of information by using https://redirect.li/http/

    You can also try tracking external redirects: https://redirection.me/support/options/

    Unless Redirection is causing the redirect (I don’t think it is) then you would be better to post your question in a more general forum.
