I’ve a website with 3 authors and whenever I click on one of the usernames I get logged out of my own account.

And after getting logged out, at the login screen, it says “You do not currently have a Shield user session. Please login again.”

Everything is at default and I just activated the plugin for the first time.

I’m using the Shield Security plugin.

    Hello, @rohanvwxyz

I think this is an incompatibility between that security plugin and my plugin.
I’m changing the current user object but the user session stays the same. It could be that the way this plugin validates user sessions isn’t compatible.

I’d have to take a look at this but don’t think this is a quick fix unfortunately..
I’ve added this to my todo on GitHub for the next version so I will close this topic here!

If you have a GitHub account, please post any technical details, info or test results there!

In the meantime you could use other security plugins if you want. This plugin should be compatible with Wordfence, iThemes Security and Sucuri.

I’ll keep you posted about progress!

    Regards, Jory
