Hi! I have just started my forum and I love the plugin, but I don’t know why, it’s not working properly. When I click on a forum to get in and create a new post, it redirects me to the main page. Though, if you bring the mouse on you can see that forum page exists. Maybe I am doing something wrong, if yes, please help to solve this problem. Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi manishka,

It seems you’ve tried to set wpForo on home page.

Please read this instruction steps then check again.

Thank you, it worked. But then, it looked like my home page and forum.homevgarden.com/community/ page was going to have the same content. So I decided to delete community page and the forum broke ?? I created the page back, but it doesn’t work, I guess because of page ID. Still, is there a chance to make main forum page on my home page only, so I don’t have duplicated content?

Please deactivate wpForo and activate it again, this allow to restore page ID. Please don’t use the Uninstall button, this will remove all data, only use the Deactivate / Activate buttons.

As I can see from your URL you want to turn WordPress to Stand-alone forum?
wpForo allows to turn WordPress to wpForo. There are many advantages, the most popular case when people use this option is this:

    1. They install wpForo in a subdomain for example forum.example.com

    2. Then enable the “Turn WordPress to wpForo” option to remove /community/ slug and the forum URLs starts right after domain name, for example forum.example.com/news/

    3. Then add Forum menu in the main menu of the main website example.com with forum.example.com/ URL.

IMPORTANT: Please don’t use this option if you just need to load forum on home page.

Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings admin page, enable “Turn WordPress to wpForo” option. This option disables WordPress on front-end. Only forum pages and excluded post/pages will be available. wpForo will look like as a stand-alone forum.
