Clicking on Log me in button from email leading back to website login page

    Hi,

    My login was working fine, but recently, clicking on the “Log me in” button on the verification email leads me back to the wordpress login page. Due to this, I am not able to log in to my admin panel. How do I fix this? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi @szskdgi,

    In order to regain access, you’ll have to manually rename the plugin folder or delete the plugin folder via FTP/SSH. That will allow you to get back into WordPress.

    In order to diagnose this further, I would need a full administrator account to your WordPress install so I could test going forward. If you’d like to help, you can set-up an account for plugins [at] ss88.us as the email address. You can submit the sensitive information here.

    Thanks for the reply. I did try renaming the folder, but that also just keeps reloading the login screen. Does this mean there’s problem within wordpress and not the plugin?

    Hi @szskdgi,

    That’s right. If you have renamed it then it’s not my plugin causing the issue.

    I would do a full security check of your WordPress installation and then disable any plugins (by renaming them) that you may have recently installed and/or updated.
