Clicking on Search Type Heading goes to /Undefined

  • I am having the same problem when you click on the all search results and when I remove the drop down search it goes to a blank page… I am currently using buddypress 2.2… Can you give me an update on a fix for this…

    I tried looking through the code to see how to disable clicking on the search type heading but couldn’t find how to do this in the code.

    This issue has been previously reported and we are working to resolve it.

    As a temporary patch you can delete this code from assets/js/buddypress-global-search.min.js

    window.location=e(n.item.value).find(“a”).attr(“href”);

    This will make it so the click will do nothing but will also close the suggestion box. That is all I can suggest until an official patch is released.

    I am going to use the patch and see if I can fix the code this week. I will give you an update on my progress. Thanks for the heads up on the patch, because I really like the functionality of the plugin. Great Work…
