WordPress tries to download files rather than loading the site

Recently, I have migrated my wordpress site from Bluehost to Dreamhost via filezilla. I am using subdirectory to store the wordpress site. Home page is loading fine but other links have been broken and I am getting a 404 error. When I am trying to save the permalinks, options-permalink.php file is getting downloaded. And after that, each click is downloading either a php file or some download file. I am not sure what the error is. Can someone please help me with this.
