Clicking subscribe sends reader to Mailchimp page

  • i installed this widget for mailchimp. it appears beautifully on the website. problem is after people enter their name and email then click subscribe it takes them to the corresponding mailchimp sign up page. creating a double sign up.

    i just want people to enter their name and email, and when they click subscribe they get a thank you confirmation right there from my site.

    i see people with this problem and i have yet to find an answer for it.
