Clicking the product just goes back to the previous page.

From Settings → Permalinks click the “Save Changes” button. You don’t need to go through any changes, simply click the button. It will recreate the .htaccess file which is responsible for redirections.

I hope that will fix it, if not, you’ll want to do a conflict test to see if the issue is caused by a plugin/theme conflict with WooCommerce. Here are the steps for doing a conflict test: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

I swap the theme to twenty nineteen. I was able to click on the products without issue.
