Clicking thumbnail leads back to album

Have you tried changing your WordPress Permalinks from the “Default” to something like “Post name” or “Month and name” as much better alternatives?

hi i’ve a similar issue on my web site.
After the upgrade to the new version i’m unable to view the single image.

if you visit that page

https://www.sentieridimontagna.it/il-nostro-adamello/la-val-braone-e-i-bivacchi-prandini-e-gheza/

and click on the gallery the first time it show the images inside it, but once you click on the single image it revert back to the previous page and at this time if you click on the gallery it continuosly revert to the same page (you cannot see the image inside the gallery)

The WordPress Permalinks is currently in Year,Month,Day and Post Name format.

@bramvdsanden – Hmm … are you using the “Link to page” option on your galleries and/or album?

I’ve checked, but I’m not using the Link to page option for any of the albums/galleries. Any other ideas about what might cause the issue :)?

Yes, I have. Is it safe to downgrade the plugin to see whether this solves the problem?

@bramvdsanden – I would not expect down-grading to sort out the issue as it will always be recommended to stay up-to-date, especially since the last update also addressed recent security concerns.
