    Hi,

    Love your plugin, but i have a problem, when a client put the product in the cart in one device (ex: phone) and he finished the order in another device (ex: laptop) he stills received the abandoned cart email reminder.

    In this case the client shouldn’t received the abandoned cart email reminder, how cai i do that?

    Hi @miguelamendes9,

    Can you please let me know whether this happened for the guest user or logged in user?
    Also, do you know whether your client has opened the site on the laptop and finished the order using a reminder email link or without the reminder email link?

    If the guest user abandons the cart via phone and opens the site from his laptop using the reminder email link then our plugin will recognize the cart as an already existing cart and will update the details accordingly ensuring no reminders are sent for the cart abandoned from the phone.

    However, if the guest user abandons the cart via phone and opens the site from his laptop without using a reminder email link then these carts will be tracked as 2 different carts hence he’ll receive the email for the cart abandoned from his phone.

    For registered user, this issue should not happen as long as the user logged in to the site on both the devices.

    This happens with guest users, so there no is no way the email from the abandoned cart validates that the client buy it later?

    You’re welcome.

    If the guest users abandon the cart on one device and purchased it on another device without a reminder email link then currently, there is no way in our plugin to identify that the client has purchased that item.

    However, we do have a plan to add a feature in our lite version also where the emails will not be sent to users who purchased the items using the same email address irrespective of their multiple active carts. The email shouldn’t be sent to those users who have placed an order. But yet we do not have a specific timeline set for this feature.

    I will notify you when we will implement this feature and release it in our lite version.
