Client-Side Posts-per-page control

Hi, I’m making a site with a product catalogue and want to incorporate an option for the user to select the number of posts that appear per page. I can change the number of posts to show from the admin section, but I’m not sure how I would go about creating a menu for the user to do the same thing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
