Clone page issue

  • Hi.

    I have just taken over a friends website and want to make some updates to the main page. I want to do it in a way that leaves the orginal intact. I used Yoast Duplicate Post plugin to make a copy, however the issue I am facing is any chages I make to the copy automatically transfer to the original and vice versa.

    I did search this forum and found some other people facing the same problem, but I can seem to implement the solutions they found myself.

    Any help would be greatly appriciated.
