Clone “Page no Title” template

  • I’m creating a site which will be in both English and German. I’m using the Page no Title template. I would like to create a clone of that template, and use an alternate (German) navigation bar in the top block to use for the German side of the site. I tried creating a new template, removing the Title block, and giving the new template a different name. When I open that new template and try to replace the navigation menu with my alternate one, a popup tells me i must edit the template. But when I click edit template, it takes me to the original Page No Title template. What am i doing wrong?

    Hi @teqtoo – that does sound a little frustrating. Without being able to see exactly what is happening – it is a little tricky to know what’s going on.

    One thing it could be is that your Header template part could still be shared between the two different templates. So when you edit it within one template – it is still changing it for the other.

    Are you able to try adding another ‘Header’ template part just for the German language templates instead?
