Clone to new Domain

    Hello-

    when trying to set up the clone, I do not get to chose a different domain, but only a subdirectory of the main site, see https://prnt.sc/NvahhIcyO9tn

    In wp-config it says
    define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, false);

    Is it not possible to clone to a new domain?

    Sorry, I just found the reason. Of course it is due to the define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, false);. I do not know why it was set to false, because all other previous site where created as Subdomains. I changed the value and all works now.

    I have define(‘SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL’, true); but I still only get an option to do a subdomain under the present URL, not a completely new domain.

    Is that the way this tool works? Everything must be “under” the present domain?

    Hi There, That would be something regarding your WordPress Multisite Network settings and not Cloner. Cloner can only read what kind of setup you have (subsite or subdomain) and display settings appropriately. Thanks!
