    Hi,

I use dozens of Visualizer Bar Charts on my site. But I am having a problem: some of my charts display exactly as intended. But others show inexplicable “white space” on the Y-Axis that I can’t figure out how to remove. Even more surprising is that I have this issue when cloning the properly working charts.

This page shows an Attendance bar chart (about 80% of the way down the page) that displays exactly as intended.

Meanwhile, the attendance chart on this page (scroll 80% down the page again) displays totally differently with extra white space on the Y-Axis. This is even thought the Bar Chart on this page is a direct clone of the successful chart on the Nashua Pirates page and I haven’t made any changes to the chart setting other than changing the Title in General Settings and the color of the Bars in Series Settings.

Can you tell me what is happening here and how to fix?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@andycrossley the data on the second chart is different as well. Have you uploaded that data or did you use the manual editor?

Sorry – let me be more clear. The data in both charts I showed you is uploaded from the .csv file template for Bar Charts. Although the data itself is different in both charts, the templates are identical: same headings, same number of rows.

So I don’t understand why they are displaying differently, with this extra space in the Y-Axis on the Lynn Sailors page that is not present on the Nashua Pirates page.

Also – I have this problem with cloning Visualizer charts frequently (but not always). It’s not JUST these two charts. I’ve tried manipulating both the underlying .csv files themselves prior to upload and searching through the settings inside the Visualizer plug-in to figure out why this is happening and I’m at a dead end.

@andycrossley this is something we haven’t been able to reproduce at our end and we may need more clarity. If you try to clone the chart without changing the data or the settings does the cloned chart show correctly? If you try to do the same by only changing the settings, does it work?
