Hello, thanks for the good wiget.
I cloned a post and edited it for similar contents, but when I put it online it takes also the views of the original post. How can i reset the cloned post views counter? Thanks

    Hi @lideoit,

You would need to edit WPP’s database tables for that as there’s no way to reset the views count of a single post.

How did you clone the post?

I use Duplicate Post by Enrico Battocchi (https://it.www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicate-post/).

Thanks, I’ll give that plugin a try to see how it works.

In the meantime, you may want to check with Mr. Battocchi if it’s possible to exclude certain data when cloning a post.

    Hey @lideoit,

I just tested the Duplicate Post plugin and the cloned post has its own views count. It didn’t inherit the views data from the original post.

I tested again cloning “IPTV Extreme – Guida alla configurazione di un ottimo player IPTV” with 32976 Post Views, changed name and url ed published, and this is the result:

No idea, to be honest. I tested it on a fresh WordPress install and this doesn’t happen, you’ll have to check with Enrico to see what’s going on.
