cloning past events into new one

Hi,
i am using event organiser quite intensive for my events. some of the events are occuring repeatedly, but not on a fixed schedule, so i can’t use the “every x …” feature.
would it be possible to implement a feature, which can clone existing events into a “create new event” form ?
