• Providing a link to the page won’t help in this case. I cloned a product from an existing product with a waitlist. When the new cloned product was published, an email was sent to the waitlist from the original product waitlist that the new product was now available. It caused a lot of confusion and can’t happen again. Any ideas how that happened and how to prevent it from happening again? I really don’t want to create new products for new ones that are close but not the same as an existing product.

How did you clone the waitlist? Waitlist is stored in a separate table.
Plugin sends email on the basis of product ID so once you clone the product, the new cloned product gets a new product ID.

I did NOT clone the waitlist. I cloned a product that had a waitlist and it obviously cloned the waitlist along with the product. I would have thought the cloning, not the same as duplication, would had stripped the waitlist on the cloned product. I don’t see a way to remove one from a product manually.

Is there an answer? I swear the cloned product did not have a waitlist yet but the waitlist was notified that the product was available again but the notice was for the cloned product. These are workshops that the waitlist signed up for in the new cloned product when it was published. It seems to me that when I cloned the original product, the waitlist followed with the new clone. Very strange.

Is there a way to check for a waitlist and see who is listed in it in a product?
