Close comments on one post, leave the rest open: Recommend plugin?

  • I am looking for a way to disable comments on one pesky post while leaving them open on others. Is there a plugin that will allow me to do that? Or am I just doing it wrong altogether?

  • Just go to your Dashboard->Manage->Posts and select the post you want to close comments on. Then go down to the Comments & Pings section and uncheck the Allow Comments option for that post

    If I uncheck the “allow comments on this post” box will it simply stop any additional comments or will it also erase all of the post’s comments?
