    Hi,

I have a problem with FooBox.
Despite activating “Close when click on overlay” there is still a picture overlaying my website.
    What can I do?

I am using the newest version of FooGallery and FooBox. My theme is OceanWP.

In the customizer I disabled the OceanWP lightbox. After updating FooGallery, I deleted the Autoptimize cache and added in the Autoptimize Plugin settings –> Java Script Options –> Exclude Scripts foogallery.min.js.

The gallery works fine at https://direkiju.de/haghanipour-besuch/. But newer galleries doesn’t work, like here: https://direkiju.de/studientag-nehring/ or https://direkiju.de/kalligrafie-ws-2023/.

    Thanks in advance
    Michael

    Hi @micfo

I’ve thoroughly examined the two pages containing galleries where you’ve indicated an issue, but from my assessment, the lightbox functionality appears to be working correctly.

On the page https://direkiju.de/studientag-nehring/, the FooGallery gallery utilizes FooBox, which opens seamlessly and closes upon clicking the overlay. Similarly, the gallery on the page https://direkiju.de/kalligrafie-ws-2023/ employs FooGallery Lightbox, which lacks the “Close when click on overlay” option but is operating as intended.

Please confirm if you’re now observing the same behavior. Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

    Hi Elvis,

thank you for your quick response.

When you looked at my site, I already disabled the plugin Ocean Extra. And then the gallery worked fine.

On another site (https://www.berliner-forum-religionen.de/) I activated Ocean Extra and there the gallery works fine too. So I don’t really know, what is the problem with Ocean Extra.

    Kind regards,
    Mic

    Hi?@micfo

I’m glad to know that everything works fine now.

Based on your descriptions from your initial message and your most recent one, the issue is most likely that there is a lightbox extension/feature that comes with Ocean Extra which was causing this.

    Thanks.
