Closed Now and Open Now Tags not working properly

    Hi,

    I have connected the google business page to this and that is connected properly. I have updated the times and it is pulling the days and times just fine.

    However, even though we are open at the moment it still shows the “Show this when closed” Rather than the Open. I added both codes to test.

    Please help.

    @gabybitar Are you using the [open_now] shortcode?

    To check the time is matching the timezone set in WordPress, please add this into your text page:

    [open_text]%now%[/open_text]

    I’m releasing a new version shortly that should resolve some existing issues that remain.

    Yes i am using:

    [open_now]Show this when open[/open_now]

    [open_text]%now%[/open_text]
    [closed_now]Show this when closed[/closed_now]
    [open lines]
    [open ul]

    @gabybitar What’s your timezone (in general settings) and the WordPress version?

    I just tried disabling all plugins and using Twenty20 Theme as well and same issue.

    @gabybitar it’s related to this plugin – so I’ll check this and produce a fix in the next release. It will be added very soon.

    @gabybitar Please update to version 1.10 as this should resolve all the issues you’ve experienced with the open/closed conditional shortcode and similarly for the conditional text.

    If you spot anything, please let me know and I’ll resolve it quickly.

    @realheman @gabybitar I’ve added a fix to the development version after spotting an introduced error that handles timestamps for “yesterday”, “today” and “tomorrow”. When midnight struck for GMT, it jumped forward to that new day. I haven’t fully tested the change, but I am confident this was the issue. Please can you download the development version and see if it is working for you? Once confirmed, I’ll set it as version 1.12 for everyone to use.
