Closing a pin lightbox when clicking/pressing outside it

  • Hi folks,

    We just started using the OSM plugin and I’m grateful it exists! Some of our users in the Puttytribe community are making requests for changes and they seem best handled at the plugin level instead of custom coding on our side.

    For example, we’d like the ability to close the lightbox that opens when you click a pin on the map by clicking/pressing somewhere outside of the lightbox (instead of having to select the “x” in the upper-right to close it). Is that possible with some custom HTML or CSS? Or is it possible as a new setting within the plugin itself?

    Hi Joel,

    you should do it on plugin level and here it might be a good idea to look at the OpenLayers.org part.
    We did not plan to do anything in this area at the moment as there are still some basic topics open.
    Since the plugin is under GPL, feel free to adapt it for your needs.
