Can you please check this by hard refresh (Ctrl+R) or on fresh browser? Because that could be caching issue. I have checked this this solution working for us.

and regarding custom changes that will gone if you update the plugin. You need to do this change. But we will try to include this in our update.

No, both plugin can not activated at the same time. Can you confirm this if you have any cache plugin then please first clear the cache and then test the page.

Because that changes works for me.
