    Hi,

    I’m trying to setup a stock video site with this plugin. I’m using a rackspace CDN cloud account to host my content for customer downloads. I see where I can attach a file to sell, but is there a way I can link to one instead? Basically, since the files are so large, I don’t want to host them on the same server that my wp site is on.

    Hi Stephen,

    We plan on building an extension for Amazon S3, but, don’t have any plans for building a “RackSpace CDN” option. That’s not to say we won’t, but there simply hasn’t been that much interest.

    We also plan on changing the upload field so it’s just an input field (with Browse/Upload). That way, you’ll be able to paste in a link to the file at RackSpace CDN.

    Can you say when you will be changing the upload field to an input field?

    There should be an input field next to the upload field. Keep in mind if you paste an external link in the upload field the file will not be “protected” and anyone can download that original file.
