Cloudflare?

  • Does JavaScript Age Gate use scripts served by Cloudflare? I use the EFF Privacy Badger, and when I went to look at the Age Gate Advanced Settings menu, I saw it flag an additional tracker. The page source shows something is calling these scripts:

    <script src='https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/ace/1.2.9/ace.js'></script>
<script src='https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/ace/1.2.9/mode-css.js'></script>

    I ask because I’m trying to limit the use of third-party embedded content for privacy reasons.

    Yes, but those are for the CSS editor on the advanced tab so it’s only in the admin area.

    Version 3 will remove them and use the editor that ships with WordPress. No fixed point for releasing that yet though.
