I currently have the plugin (and a paid account) Cloudflare APO.

I would like to know if I can use your plugin with Cloudflare APO service.

I have noticed that the Cloudflare plugin is missing a lot of important features that I saw that your plugin currently has.

I am happy with the performance of APO but would like to add some features that I saw in your plugin.

    – No you can’t. You either have to use this plugin and make sure that the official Cloudflare plugin is not installed in your website & APO is disabled in your dashboard.

OR you can go with the official Cloudflare plugin + APO.

Thanks for the answer, I hope that it can be integrated together at some point. Thank you.

No, it can’t be. Because APO uses a different architecture and this plugin uses a different architecture.

But if you have a moderate to good traffic site, this plugin + enabling smart tiered cache inside the CF dashboard will perform better than APO (personal experience).

If you have a smaller traffic site then you might consider Cache Reserve.

Or if you can you can stay with APO as well.

I will try your suggestion, APO is great but the options are insufficient.

    Hi Saumya,

I found this topic very interesting.

It seems to me that “smart tiered cache” costs at least $5 and that is the cost of APO regardless of your traffic.

    About Cache Reserve:

    1. Does it work well with workers (and without smart tiered cache)?
    2. In your experience, on sites with little traffic is the cost below $5?

    Hi @andrefreela,
I think you have some misinformation. Smart Tiered Cache is free for all. You can enable it from your Cloudflare dashboard > caching section. There is no cost associated with it.

Cache Reserve however is a paid system, which work best if your response header includes content-length value which is missing in case of most websites. This is one of the major pain point of Cache Reserve due to which I personally don’t use it. However if your web server returns content-length header then you can definitely opt for it, it worth every penny.
