Cloudflare ips

OMG i am so not sure what is going on bc today I see some non CF ips! YEsterday they were all from CF. I didnt change a thing so maybe i’ll just let it go and see what happens for the next few days.

They ones today are from Viet Nam And rRomania both of witch are checked off in the country block section so not sure about that either… ??

I am having my host (hostgator) install the Mod_cloudflare on my vps so that might help. I will post the outcome of that.

Can i remove the plugin if i use the Mod_CF?

It looks like mod_cloudflare does for your whole website what the cloudflare plugin does for WordPress. The cloudflare plugin does nothing if it does not see the a cloudflare IP. It takes up so little memory that I would not worry about it being installed. It won’t hurt to leave it in. You might try disabling it to see if mod_cloudflare is working correctly.

But… make haste slowly.

That is why i am going to try the Mod_CF bc i have many sites on my vps and each has the cf plugin some with your Stop Spammers plugin some not!

I will prob disable so that it keeps my setting incase the mod thing dont work or i want to go back.

It it seem to be good wo the CF plugins then in a while i may delete them.

(Now i have to fight w gmail to get them to stop blocking my email server…lol…should be fun)

Gmail is blocking your email server? Either you are on a spam blacklist or you have not setup an SPF record in your zone file. Google is pretty good at following the ‘rules’.

i found them …in the spam folder. I didnt see that folder bc it was in the “more” drop down. I dont use gmail much so not sure shere it was but it seems to be ok now too… ??

Just to update, I did get the cloudflare apache module add to my vps. I also got rid of the plugin for CF. I dont like it be there if not used/needed. I get all the real ip now as if not thru CF! ??
