    Hello,
I would like to use “Preferences” category for user’s language preferences. If I add a class to script tag class=”cmplz_preferences”, there is a cookie created, but no checkbox to accept it. Isn’t it possible to use “preferences” acceptance level in banner?

    kind regards,

    Veronika

    Hi @liluli,

At this moment, this can be done by selecting that you use Tag Manager (Complianz > Wizard > Cookies > Statistics) and creating a custom “Preferences” category (Complianz > Cookie Banner > Banner settings > Custom Tag Manager categories). You can then use Tag Manager to fire a tag on that Custom Event, as described in Section 2 of this article.

To add upon this: translation cookies often do not require explicit consent, as long as they are set after an explicit action from the user (for instance, the user selects a different language).

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
