CMS Conflict with wordpress

Hello again guys..

As per the tutorial given at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Integrating_WordPress_with_Your_Website i have tried to integrate fresh WordPress installation on my domain but the problem I am facing is functions like time_start, time_stop etc. are used in existing CMS (Hotaru) as well and it throws error..
