CMS-Like Site Sections

Here’s what I’m trying to do: I have a site at https://example.com, I want pages for this site to exist at https://example.com/page while blog posts will all reside at https://example.com/blog/category/postname. Preferably, this would all be managed under the same installation

Seems like I may be able to do this using .htaccess, but not sure if there’s a better solution that is manageable within WordPress.

Any help would be appreciated.
