• My web hosting company requested a “Cname/A Record” to connect to my domain so that I can create a new website using www.ads-software.com. Could you tell me where I can get the relevant information?

    Thank you so much!

  • Hello @christyyychannn

To get the “CNAME” or “A Record” information, log into your web hosting account and check the DNS settings or domain management section. Your hosting provider should specify the exact CNAME or IP address needed for the A Record. Once you have that, you can add it in the DNS settings of your domain registrar to connect your domain to the new WordPress site.

It can also be your domain registrar (or even previous web hosting company, if you have registered domain with them)

If you have any questions – ask your web host support, your question is not about WordPress

If your question is about domain management, check with your domain registrar or previous web hosting provider, especially if you registered the domain with them. For further help, reach out to your web host’s support, as this isn’t a WordPress-specific issue.
