Whenever I am trying to access my website gastromessiah.com , It is showing the following error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/p3nexnas06_data03/04/2174304/html/wp-content/themes/customizr/functions.php on line 23

As a result, I cannot even access my wordpress profile…I have even tried to access my wordpress account through my hosting client (godaddy)
    but to no avail…

please advice what I can do regarding this…

As a result of this parse error you cannot access your hosting control panel from GoDaddy?

My hosting provider GoDaddy provides tools and settings to manage and access my wordpress page…means, I can log in to my wordpress profile from my GoDaddy profile…I have, as a matter of fact, resolved this issue simply by reloading my last best setting from backup with the help of those tools provided by GoDaddy, but I would still like to know what I might have to do in case i dont get such benefits…

but I would still like to know what I might have to do in case i dont get such benefits…

What are you asking for though? You can get your site up and running by renaming your “customizr” theme folder. But you’ll still have your syntax error in the customizr theme.

My main problem was that I couldn’t access my website, as well as my wordpress admin profile because of that error…But luckily, my hosting provider (GoDaddy) provides me with a tool which helped me to resolve the issue. Let me be a bit more specific…

My hosting provider GoDaddy provides tools which helps me to easily install and manage my wordpress page (tools like Fantastico i guess) by accessing my hosting providers account. As such, i don’t have a clue about where my theme folder exists in the server’s database (Did I mention that I am a newbie at this?). But since I found out (after posting my query here) that my hosting provider provides me with a tool from where I can reset my last best known backup…

but what if this tool fails? how to I resolve such an issue then! That is precisely my question…My website is up and running now…but I am asking this for future reference…Thanks by the way for persevering through my rather confusing question (heck what more do you expect from a newbie…:) )!! hope you’ll answer this final one from me…

Your hosting providers also give you the credentials to access your server’s files, and by doing so they give you freedom to use your own File Transfer software. So you don’t have to rely on your hosting providers to provide you with a File transfer tool.

That’s all you need to do really, you just need to upload a new functions.php file with the error rectified.

Your hosting providers can help you find directories if you don’t know where they are.
